Gus' Greek Seasoning began when Gus Kantaris began using his seasoning blend in his restaurant "The Athenian Supper Club" located in Mason City, Iowa in 1973. Gus was famous for his delicious steaks, seasoned to perfection. Soon his secret spice became a household staple in the homes of North Iowans.
